Why chiropractic when you are pregnant?

Many women suffer from many different aches and pains during pregnancy, most commonly low back pain! Chiropractic can help to alleviate those aches and pains while providing a safe alternative to medications that can harm the baby.

Women's bodies were made to carry a baby (or two) however the daily modern stresses the body now endures may interfere with the its ability to best transform and adapt to the growing fetus. When the spine and pelvis are properly aligned the internal structures (uterine ligaments, muscles, etc.) have reduced tension making for a more comfortable environment for the baby, especially in the third trimester when space is limited.

Webster Technique

The Webster Technique is a Chiropractic assessment and adjustment technique to align the pelvis and sacrum of a pregnant woman which may improve biomechanics and nervous system function. This may improve delivery for the mother and child.
